I’ve always loved being short, but let’s be honest, finding clothes and shoes that actually fit is a never-ending challenge, especially as we get older. Over the years, I found myself constantly asking other petite women where they shop. I’ve even been known to stop strangers on the street if they looked like they cracked the code!

 

Then I learned something surprising: about 40% of women globally are 5’3” or under. That’s a huge number! So why is it still so hard to find clothes made for us?

When I couldn’t find a resource for petite women over 45 to share shopping tips and favorite brands, I created one. It’s a place where we can celebrate our height, share resources, and finally feel seen in the fashion world.

To save you hours of searching, I built the Petite Brand Directory, a curated guide to brands and stores that cater specifically to petite women. These are brands that offer better fits, real petite sizing, and styles that work for women 45+. I've also created the Petite Brand Fit Chart to give you a sneak peak into how the brands are sized, including inseams.
