Tall Boot Picks for Petites with Short Legs and Wide Calves

If you're short like me (4'11") and have wide calves, you know that it's nearly impossible to find tall boots that fit. I love my ankle boots, but I've longed for a pair that I can wear up to my knees with a dress or skirt. My ideal boot shaft would be somewhere between 12" and 13" which is way below the average boot shaft of 15".

I've been inquiring in petite groups and forums for months, and compiled these recommendations from fellow petites who have very short legs and average to wide calves.

DuoBoots Dalia Petite Shaft Knee High Boot - Comes in the petite 14.2" shaft, a 2.6" heel and eight different calf sizes.

Princess Polly Elodie Boot - This boot is faux leather with a 3.5" heel and a visibly shorter shaft, although the heigh is not stated in the the product description.

Lifestride Brinley Boot - Has a 13" shaft height and available in medium and wide calf sizes. The wide calf size is 16.25".

Vivaia Rumi Boot - These versatile boots can be slouchy or smooth and can be folded to fit your height. These were recommended by a petite who is 4'10" and was able to pull the boot straight and fold the fabric inside without looking weird.

Dolce Vita Talina Boot - These boots are "mid-calf" with an 11.6" shaft height and comes in a wide calf size.

Dolce Vita Riggs Wide Calf Boot - Has an 11.4" shaft length, comes in a wide calf and a 2.8" heel.

Dolce Vita Vern Wide Calf Boot - These boots have an 11.6" shaft, wide calf option and a 1.9" heel.

Coutgo Mid-Calf Pointed Toe Boot - Budget friendly on Amazon, these faux leather boots have a short 7.48" shaft with a wide 15.35" calf circumference, and lots of 5 star reviews.

Syktkmx Slouchy Mid-Calf Boot - Also budget friendly with a 10.31" shaft with a 15.75" calf circumference.
